Benny’s Gourmet – Reading’s First Halal Burger Diner

Reading’s first Halal American-style diner opened next door to the Travelodge hotel last week.

Benny’s Gourmet, which specialises in handmade burgers as well as milkshakes, hot dogs, sandwiches and pasta, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Part of the same chain as Benny’s BurgerTown, which has a branch in Southampton, Reading’s branch boasts of all the colours and fanfare of any good American diner.

As part of the menu range, Benny’s offer burgers, waffles, and variety of creamy shakes.

If you’re feeling a bit more, ambitious, then you can go for a bite from their hot dog, noodle or healthy salad menu.

There’s even the option of designing your own dessert from their extensive wall of treats, while dining under their signature flourescent lights.
