Chicken Cottage begins £500k Greater Manchester expansion

Well-known Halal fast food brand Chicken Cottage has begun its £500,000 expansion across Great Manchester with the opening of a cloud kitchen.

Based in Ardwick, the launch is part of plans to open two more restaurants in order to meet increasing online demands.

The virtual kitchen is offering the company’s recently launched plant-based Impossible “chicken” nuggets, as well as a build-your-own burger range.

Chicken Cottage group chief executive, Shahrin Imran, said: “This is in response to increased demand from customers in the region who are looking for the authentic east meets west fusion of flavours our famous products offer.”

While the two quick-service restaurants are currently in the planning stages, with several potential sites being reviewed across Greater Manchester, Chicken Cottage has also launched a new app.
