A Turkish restaurant called Emy’s Kitchen enjoyed its grand opening yesterday in North East London’s Stoke Newington.

With plenty of indoor seating, this family-friendly eatery says it “specialises in delicious homemade dishes, Turkish cuisine including tasty pide and lahmacun, burgers, salads and breakfast options”.

But while they’ve confirmed with us that “we do 100% Halal breakfast as we do not sell any pork or bacon”, they also have a bring-your-own alcohol policy.

Opening early in the morning from 7am, Emy’s breakfast and brunch menu offers plenty of options that include Turkish pizzas called pides, four vegan dishes, a selection of egg brunches, and breakfasts with unlimited tea or filter coffee.

On their dinner menu you’ll find dishes like the “homemade Zeytin Yagli Fasulye”, which consists of green beans, tomato, onion and olive oil served with salad, rice and yoghurt, as well as a Kavurmali Pide with freshly baked pastry and pieces of lamb cubes.

Emy’s website also has a complete takeaway menu allowing orders to conveniently be made before being collected, with their mobile app available to download on Google Play or the Apple App Store.
