Another American brand invades our shores to fatten us some more!
And this place caters for Muslims like Big Mac caters for everyone else. Fatburger is one big beard oriented party with tables hard to find due, we suspect, to it being one of the few halal joints in the area.
We got the double burger thinking it’s the same size as what you get in the States, but it’s not. It’s your average burger comprised of a double patty. You can add extra bits to your burger, so we decided on bacon and an egg.
What was criminal, however, was that despite ordering three said burgers, none of them had the default cheese. What is more, it lacked sauce, and we do mean, any sauce.
What we effectively had here were small, dry, tasteless burgers cooked by students no less. Shocking to say the least!
What we’re unable to figure out are those who give this place such glowing reviews. Perhaps they’re suffering from the Big Mac syndrome or something. Whatever the case, you could probably make a better burger at home.
No imagination, no taste!
You walk away thinking: “My burger looks nothing like what they advertise on their shop window.” False advertising?
 
They advertise buffalo’s chicken wings. There are so many flavours to choose from – Mild, Sweet Teriyaki, Sweet Bourbon BBQ, Lemon Pepper, Honey Garlic, Medium, Coconut Jerk, Cajun Dry Rub, Red Hot Ranch, Asian Sesame, Hot, California Fire BBQ, Scorchin’ & Death Valley.
We went for Cajun Dry Rub, and it didn’t disappoint either. The only complaint we’d have are the size of them. Tiny niblets! And six for a whopping £5?! What a rip off. And what’s with the celery, to floss your teeth?!
 
£4 for what’s allegedly milkshakes. The strawberry shake was severely lacking in flavour.

This is a harsh review, I enjoyed my burger. I do remember having cheese with mine.
