Frank “Bruno, Bruno, Bruno” in person to open GDK’s latest branch!
Boxing legend Frank Bruno will be doing the honours tomorrow of launching German Doner Kebab’s (GDK) umpteenth UK branch in East London.
The former WBC heavyweight champion will be cutting the ribbon at 4.30pm and no doubt trying one of GDK’s healthy Halal kebabs.
And while you’re waiting for the chance of a selfie and a chat with “Bruno, Bruno, Bruno” until 6.30pm, GDK will generously offer you “a FREE Doner Kebab while you’re there”.
Located on the busy long stretch of Mile End Road, and only a few steps down from Stepney Green Station (underground), the 40-seater restaurant carries that unmistakable GDK interior design.
The doner kebab brand promotes a healthy kebab option with lower calories in comparison to your typical doners out there.
The Chicken Doner Box Meal is touted as containing 433 calories, yet packs a 46g protein punch.
While this current opening is its 15th UK venue, GDK aren’t done quite yet with plans of opening seven more.
