With their range of healthy, pre-packed cooked meats, fresh meat and frozen burgers, Haloodies is now established in major retailers across the UK.

Mr Khawaja said: “It was an honour and truly humbling to receive this recognition amongst so many deserved winners. We launched Haloodies, not only to meet demand and deliver high quality, healthy halal products but, just as importantly, to establish trust in the food chain for Muslims.

“We all deserve to be able to trust the food we eat and we believe it’s our moral obligation to educate everyone on the beauty of halal. Haloodies deliver wholesome products of exceedingly high quality – products we can trust – not just Muslims but all of us.”

The brand has won a number of awards since it launched over five years ago with the aim of “improving choice, convenience and quality for the new generation of Muslim foodies”.

The Arabian Business London Awards was split into two parts with the first honouring those who have made contributions to British society, and the second awarding a select group of achievers from around the world.
