When you have an American-style steakhouse as well established as Le Madison in east London, there’s no questioning their pedigree.
This award-winning, fully Halal restaurant has been serving not just the best cuts of beef, lamb and chicken steaks in the area since 2017, but some magnificent gourmet burgers too.
American steakhouse Le Madison is the place to visit when in London’s Whitechapel
This 65-cover venue is located on Raven Row, just off the cross-roads of Whitechapel Road and Mile End Road, and offers both indoor and outdoor seating.
With 
family-friendly boothes located in a beautifully conceived interior, the place itself exudes a modern vibe befitting its mouth-watering menu.
In addition to wall murals that depict the skylines of New York and London, as well as the humble Brick Lane just down the road, the focal point of the restaurant is its elaborate non-alcoholic drinks bar.
As for Le Madison’s menu, then there’s simply nothing like it within the vicinity, with an impressive selection of quality steaks and over a dozen burgers one of which uniquely incorporates the surf ‘n’ turf concept.
Serving the best steaks in the area since 2017
Multiple visits are required to really appreciate the depth of variety Le Madison has to offer as part of its eclectic menu.
This includes a strong selection of beverages that comprise of both mocktails, sophisticated non-alcoholic cocktails, freshly-made smoothies, and milkshakes.
T-Bone Steak (400g) – Well-marbled cut of two lean, tender steaks: the strip and tenderloin, £28.95
Their magnificent array of steaks are all HMC-certified, perfectly dry aged for 21 days, and served with a topping of butter, green beans, cherry tomatoes, caramelised onions, salad and a choice of gravy and chips.
Exceptional drinks menu
For those seeking after a variety of textures in one cut, then the obvious choice has to be their T-bone (400g).
Consisting of two lean and tender sections in the strip and tenderloin, this will satisfy the steak-craving of any diner.
Otherwise, if you’re looking for a smaller cut but one which packs the same punch, then Le Madison’s Aberdeen Angus Ribeye at just £24.95 is the one.
For those not in the know, then Aberdeen Angus beef derives from a Scottish breed of small cattle, which provides an intensely flavoured meat that’s juicy and succulent each and every time.

One of Le Madison’s most popular dishes is the Short Beef Ribs which, having been slow-cooked with a smoky BBQ marinade, turns out ultra-tender and deeply satisfying.
Although this comes with hand-cut chips, salad and a housemade coleslaw that’ll help cut through that delicious richness, consider pairing this with an inhouse Mac & Cheese side, which helps enhance that level of comfort.

While they are known for their signature Tower Burger, which pairs your choice of patty with a lobster tail, perhaps their most conceptually confident burger is the Le Madison Charm
In addition to combining both an Angus beef patty with grilled chicken, the flavour profile is taken through the roof with not just beautiful strips of crispy smoky turkey bacon, but also a fried egg to add that extra level of umaminess.

And do not think for a second that the smaller Le Madison Queen that houses a grilled chicken fillet, with caramelised onion and BBQ sauce, is any less flavourous.
With the accomplished chefs at this restaurant having their grill-game down to a tee, not only does the poultry manage to deliver a good degree of smokiness, but every element in this burger comes together harmoniously.
