MasterChef’s Nisha Parmar launches first cafe NourishAdvertisement Advertisement HALAL STATUS Halal chicken • Pork served
Last year’s MasterChef semi finalist Nisha Parmar celebrated the soft opening of her first eatery yesterday in North West London’s Hillingdon.
Located in Darwin Wellness health club in Northwood, Nourish by Nisha is a stylish little cafe which, we can confirm, is currently only catering for organic Halal chicken.
But while the cafe “will have some pork too for breakfast”, Nisha has further confirmed with us that these dishes will be prepped and cooked separately so as to avoid cross-contamination.
The menu will no doubt have dishes meticulously put together by a chef who, since her time on MasterChef, has served as a restaurant consultant and worked with “lots of new restaurant start-ups”.
Describing the cafe as “a place for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and chilled out conversation”, the menu offers Full English, Veggie and Vegan cook-ups, alongside an assortment of Baps, and even a Kids Breakfast menu.
For Brunch there’s Smashed Avodado & Halloumi, Buttermilk Waffles, American Toast, Grain Jar, Acai Bowl, and Porridge along with Nisha’s Signature dish, The Mexican Breakfast: Huevos Rancheros, which was also her opening day’s bestseller.
Speaking of the opening day, Nisha said on her Instagram account: “I felt like it was the first day at school! The total unknown of running my own cafe. What an amazing day! I’m exhausted but exhilarated. Thank you to everyone who came and made it a very special and memorable day for me.”
Although the cafe will be closed this Friday 6th September, it’s usual opening hours are 10am-3pm every weekday.
