Having missed the grand opening of Noodle House in Leicester on Saturday 30th March 2019, I randomly planned to go on April Fool’s Day.
The place, although a bit small, looked fab, with great lighting and amazing looking velvet seats. Walking in, you could smell the beautiful aroma of the food.
This was followed by the Veg Noodles (chow mein), which tasted great, with some Salt and Pepper Potatoes also being thrown in. These tasted nice, were seasoned very well and had a little bite to them without being totally soft in texture.
Moving on to step 3: Sweet and Sour Sauce with two dried options. The first was Garlic Chicken, which tasted spot on and wasn’t too garlicy, followed by, from what I can remember, Sweet Chilli Chicken, which was mild without being spicy and tasted great. All neatly put in and packaged.
I can say for sure that my chosen Medium Box at £6.49 was delish and packed full of flavour. Overall a great experience, and serverd by friendly faces (it was great talking to the manager too). Plus I had a photo taken with Kungfu Panda!
NOTE: It’s cash payments only, with the nearest ATM machine located within the train station and being a bit of a walk.
Advise to all parents with pushchairs and buggys: leave it at home, as, talking from experience, it’s a mission carrying them up the short staircase leading to the takeaway. Secondly, there isn’t much space inside to park it. Just bring your baby in a car seat, which will make things convenient for everyone else.
77 London Rd, Leicester LE2 0PE.
