Premium Wagyu Steaks at Ribeye Steakhouse in Manchester

A premium steakhouse of epic proportions has launched in the happening place of First Street complex in Manchester.

Ribeye Steakhouse is a huge two storey restaurant that’s as luxuriously decked out as one would expect of a high-end establishment aiming to impress.

Having taken two years from the point of conceptualisation to bring to fruition, Mancunians now have a fully Halal steakhouse whose owners have “procured the best meats internationally” in their bid at presenting the best possible steaks.

In fact, co-owners and brothers Sohail and Waquas Kaushal have carefully setup a dry bar too with an elaborate drinks menu of sweet- and sour-oriented mocktails designed to compliment the meats on offer.

And what a selection of meats they are too with Ribeye Steakhouse, who describes itself as “the steak connoisseur’s choice”, having successfully sourced:

  • US Creekstone Beef that’s been fed with a 100% corn diet for 140 days before being wet aged.
  • 300-400 days corn fed, minimum grade-5 Wagyu that’s “fully traceable from farm to fork”- Filet 7oz £65 & Ribeye 9oz £60.
  • 35 days dry aged in Himalayan pink salt Aberdeen Angus Beef that’s from certified, naturally reared grass fed farms.

But the steaks aren’t the only things meticulously executed by head chef Djafar Yousfi, there’s plenty of other options too as part of the restaurant’s envisaged dining experience.

For Starters you might want to consider the Chef’s Selection Platter of beef ribs, chicken wings, prawns, halloumi and arancini.

As for Mains, then Slow Cooked Marinated Beef Ribs piqued our interest served as it is with BBQ or their special homemade spicy sauce.

Also on the menu are a selection of burgers including the Beef Short Rib Burger served with cheddar, red cabbage and red onion marmalade.

And desserts haven’t played second fiddle either, with all items said to be “made by our very own inhouse pastry chef with love using the freshest ingredient”.

As such, there’s a choice of cheesecakes, tarts, cakes or a Spiced Chocolate Mousse with a spicy and almond nougaton a crumble base topped with a soft italian meringue, among other sweet goodies.

There’s convenient parking too at Q-Park right next door to First Street’s main attraction HOME which boasts an art complex, five cinemas, two theatres, a gallery and more.

Just 30 metres from HOME’s and 60 metres from Ribeye’s main entrance, visitors to the steakhouse will receive a 25% discount on parking.
