The Persian “Food to Go” brand Shuro Shirin will be launching their second site this Thursday less than a year since the opening of their first in Fulham.

This time around, they’ll be launching on Eastcheap in the City of London with launch offers that include free coffee from 6.30-9.30am followed by all food items available for just a quid each from 11.30am till 3.30pm.

And with a ‘Grab & Go’ concept at the heart of this brand, it couldn’t be more convenient for the busy city Londoners to try Persian food on the go.

They offer a varied menu too with breakfast items that include Persian Omelette with eggs folded into a tangy tomato sauce served with a flatbread, a Spinach Omelette ‘Nargessi’, or a selection of porridge with things like dried rose petals.

But it’s the half-a-dozen Hot Pots that appear the most exciting with meals like ‘Gheymeh’, or Lamb & Split Yellow Pea Stew, and the ‘Zereshk Polo’ Turmeric Chicken Stew – both served with steamed saffron rice.

Of the 14 wraps available, there’s the classic Persian Lamb Kabob ‘Koobideh’, as well as a number of veggie and vegan options – an example of the latter being the Aubergine & Split Yellow Pea Stew.

Otherwise, there’s a selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, and a dozen dessert options that include goodies like Khormaei, or date filled sweet puff pastry, and ‘Noon Khamei’ Persian Profiterole filled with sweet cream.
