Wow Burger opens in Leicester’s Oadby town
HALAL STATUS HMC-certifiedA new “Gourmet Burger” restaurant has opened in a small town in Leicestershire five miles from Leicester City centre, according to food blogger Hungry and Halal.
While details of the Oadby-based eatery are currently scarce, what we do know about Wow Burger is that it’s fully Halal.
Although “quite a small place [with] seating upstairs”, it offers a compact menu that revolves around seven burgers, a Sunday Roast, and Chicken and Family meals, among other things.
The seven burgers, all served in Brioche buns that come with fries and a drink for an additional £1.99, are: Wow Classic for £5.99; Wow Smoky, Hawowi or the Wowcano for £6.49 each; Wow Special £6.99; Wowlicious that’s made up of both a 4oz beef patty and chicken fillet for £7.99; and the Chicken Fillet Burger for £3.99.
With a Kids Meal also for £3.99, Wow Burger also serves a variety of chicken meals including a whole chicken meal and a chicken panini meal.
The Sunday Roast is proudly labelled on the menu as a “must have”, costs £14.99, and comes with four Yorkshire puddings, vegetables, potatoes and, of course, gravy.
This page will be updated with more information when and if we learn more about this ambitious little place.
