Moroccan Street Food hits the market
By Salahuddin Mohammad
Petticoat Lane Market, just off Liverpool Street, is mostly known for its Sunday market, but it’s also a place where one can find a great selection of food during the rest of the week.
My favourite spot is a Moroccan street food vendor aptly called Moroccan Street Food, that’s off Goulston street.
They serve chicken, fish and lamb grill which you can have in a wrap or with couscous/rice (all served with vegetable and salad). All of this for a fiver!
I’ve been to Moroccan Street Food quite a few times now and my favourite is couscous with mixed lamb and chicken plus houmous for, again, a fiver.
And here’s a little hint: make sure you mention extra lamb and extra chicken though.
What’s certain is that this takeaway will definitely fill you up.
Other cuisines being served at this market include Japanese, Spanish, Turkish, Indian and so much more.
The only thing missing is an Italian selling a Pizza. For that, I’d recommend heading to Spitalfields Market to satisfy your Pizza craving.
