If you’re after simple food that promises to “gladden your heart”, then you might want to consider Amalinda Hope’s The Fish & Chick Shop.

Amalinda offers a small but indulgent fully loaded menu made up of chicken, halloumi and fish dishes, all marinated using her unique Honey BBQ inspired “secret marinade”, and currently available for online orders only, with plans of opening pop-up kitchens.

All set meals are made in-house from scratch, and accompanied with triple cooked hand cut chips and buttermilk coleslaw.

While her famous Mac & Cheese is a combination of three rich cheeses.

The menu draws inspiration from some of the culinary delights Amalinda has sampled during her travels across the globe.

“When I invented the recipes, in my little London kitchen, I made sure to include the sassy flavours of the Deep South, as well as the uplifting taste of Japanese cooking,” she said.
