Pacana Pleases Mr & Mrs Aziz

By Abdul Aziz

I called at midday to put in a reservation for me and the missus for later in the evening.

And though I followed up with two further calls pushing back our reservation time for personal reasons, the staff (in particular Saba) was very accommodating.

Atmosphere and ambience was very chilled and relaxed, with a good crowd.

The menu was easy to pick and choose from and well described.

For drinks, Mrs Aziz went for an Elderflower Mojito and I a Mango Lassi.

Both were superb!

For starters we opted for the popular Popcorn Chicken, which did not disappoint.

The sauce it’s cooked in is lush and full of flavour.

Although the Seafood Parcels were well presented, they were not to my taste; the missus, however, loved them so each.

V cut fries (apologies no photo) were tasty. But what stole the show was the lemon and herb sauce, which complemented the starters very well.

For mains I opted for the Beef Singapore Noodles, while Mrs Aziz went for the Prawn Yaki Udon with the additon of some chilli paste as she likes turning up the heat.

With the portions being on the larger side, we both failed to finish resulting in a doggy bag. Both dishes were amazing.

The service was top notch. Due to the portion and size of our order we were swiftly moved to a bigger table with no fuss.

We were also impressed by Saba’s knowledge and customer service skills.
