Meat & Eat steakhouse opens in Wolverhampton

Last week saw the opening of a Halal steak and smokehouse in Wolverhampton that sources HMC-approved meat.

Meat & Eat says it is the “very first Steak, Pizza and Gourmet burger restaurant opening in Wolverhampton”.

With black ceilings and austere, rustic decor that appears to lend a dark ambience to a smartly decorated, modern restaurant, Meat & Eat offers a varied menu.

Of the steaks served, their signature is the 8-ounce fillet steak, which is said to be cooked well done on their Facebook page, and that’s served with a choice of the following sides: mash, steak chips, onion rings, fries or baby potatoes.

Among there burgers, there’s the grilled chicken with cheese, homemade slaw, burger sauce and pickle.

They also serve a number of fish dishes that include Garlic Tiger Prawns “grilled and served on a cast iron plate for extra flavour”, and Salmon that comes with a cream sauce with a choice of a side.
