Korean Wing Wing opens second branch in Hammersmith

If you have an affinity towards spicy food, and chicken in particular, especially KFC or Korean Fried Chicken, then head on over to Wing Wing in west London.

Having launched its second store last week in Hammersmith, this Korean brand specialises in wings it boasts “are the best you’ve ever tasted”.

Although the food concept it champions is known as ‘chi-maek’ – a fusion of the english word ‘chicken’ and ‘maekju’ the Korean for beer – the owners have informed FtL: “All our chicken is Halal.”

And if you hurry today, you’ll be able to catch Wing Wing’s 50% soft opening discount which ends tonight (open until 7pm today only).

The restaurant has plenty of space too with 5,000 square feet spread over two floors.

While the ground floor is dedicated to take-away and delivery alone, there’s ample room downstairs for around 180 to tuck into Wing Wing’s “addictively crispy chicken wings and tasty sides”.

This Korean eatery can also make available unique corporate delivery services that can range from single lunchboxes to party packs and even 100-wing trays.

Otherwise the menu here is no different to the one at the original branch in Tavistock Square.

With Katsu Bao, Kimchi Coleslaw and Seaweed Fries available for sides, the real deal is with the crispy-cum-crunchy double-fried Korean-style chicken wings brushed in your choice of three glazes: Hot, Soy Garlic or Liquorice.
