Chakra Riverside to launch in Kingston tomorrow

The award-winning Chakra restaurant will be lauching its second branch this Wednesday at the iconic Riverside location in Kingston-upon-Thames.
Open for lunch and dinner with room for up to 100 guests and an alfresco terrace area, Chakra’s riverside spot will also be, similar to its Kensington flagship site we recently reviewed here, offering a fully Halal food menu.
With a relaxed yet stylish setting and a team of talented Indian chefs at the helm, the menu will include popular staples such as:
- The famed Lamb Rogan Josh.
- Signature Kashmiri Lamb cooked with ginger, chilli, saffron and whole spices.
- Vegan-friendly Chakra Channa – Assam tea infused chickpea cooked with channa masala and tomatoes and Fish Moile.
- Kerala style seabream fish simmered in a smooth coconut milk gravy.
Chakra Riverside will also be offering weekend brunch, available from 11am to 3pm, with dishes that include spiced Masala Omelette and Mogo Chips, Anda Ka Burjhee or scrambled eggs, and a Chilli Cheese Toast.
Guests can raise a glass to breakfast with help from Chakra’s Chai Bar, which encompasses an eclectic selection of organic teas courtesy of Heath & Heather.
Perched on the banks of the Thames, Chakra Riverside will encompass stunning views, and offers takeaway and delivery service via Deliveroo.
