A new Indian street food concept has opened at the Soho Courthouse hotel in London with Halal chicken on its exciting-sounding menu.
Soho Wala is a 50-cover restaurant adjacent to said hotel whose concept and food have been designed by Preet Tandi, a chef that’s worked at world-renowned Nobu London, as well as a number of five-star hotels including Edwardian Hotels London.
Located on Great Marlborough Street, management has informed FtL: “We can confirm the chicken is Halal and is cooked separately from the rest of the meat.”
What’s more, be sure to take advantage of their soft opening offer of 50% off food only (booking is essential) until 25th November.
Utilising traditional Indian ingredients, Soho Wala’s menu classics that include:
- Kurkure Bhaji, crispy lotus root and okra.
- Mirchi ‘matchstick’ chicken with green chillis, lime and root ginger.
- Assam tea brulée with vanilla ice cream and malai crème for dessert.
With the ever popular Dishoom across the way in Carnaby usually packed out, this might be the perfect alternative. It officially launches on the 26th of November.
