The Woodlands launches modern dining in Blackburn today
HALAL STATUS Fully Halal
A £750,000 newly renovated landmark building will be launching as a modern gastronomy establishment and coffee house this morning.
The grand opening of The Woodlands will take place at 11am with management having confirmed: “Alhamdulilaah, we are fully Halal and no alcohol is served on the premises.”
The menu has been designed by Chef consultant Syed Alom who is reported to have taken inspiration from none other than Michelin-starred chef Heston Blumenthal.
With traditional Indian, French and Italian cuisines inspiring the theme of the menu, images of some of the dishes already published on their Facebook page paint a pretty picture.
Most of the plates certainly feature all the minimalist hallmarks of fine dining gastronomy and refined cookery.
Having taken over from what was previously a popular iconic pub, The Woodlands is said to have retained a lot of the original architectural features, while having added both an extension and front and rear car parking.
It is also worth noting that while Monday to Thursday is a walk-in service, weekends are currently restricted to booking service.
