Selekt Chicken marches on to open in Willesden

Having debuted in Milton Keynes exactly a fortnight ago, Selekt Chicken opened another in North West London’s Willesden yesterday.

The franchise is certainly out to challenge the domination of long-standing Halal fast food chicken brands Sams Chicken and Chicken Cottage.

This 20-seater eatery is its 14th so far, with the chicken specialists soon to launch another in Old Stratford next month, we’ve been told.

Located on Dudden Hill Lane, Selekt Chicken takes over from burger joint Mr Gourmet though directly next door to another chicken fast food place.

The menu will be the usual, with meals that include chicken strips, wraps, strips, nuggets and a variety of wings, alongside a selection of burgers.

Selekt Chicken opened its first store in Harrow, west London, in 2016, before opening a healthier sister-brand it calls Selekt Fried Free, which utilises a method developed over twenty-four months to offer chicken cooked fried-free.
