A new restaurant looking to “break boundaries and limitations of British-Indian food” recently opened in Staffordshire.
Having launched a fortnight ago in the picturesque village of Abbots Bromley near Burton, Infinitii has taken over from another Indian eatery, Royal Ruchi.
And with award-winning Head Chef Mamrej Khan at the helm, the restaurant, which has the tandoor at the heart of its kitchen, couldn’t be in better hands.
While Infinitii has informed us: “We are in the process of finding Halal suppliers for the duck and rabbit,” management has also confirmed that “all the other meats are Halal… however, there is no cross contamination as they are cooked separately with separate kitchen equipment and separate utensils”.

Having worked in restaurants across the world including the 5 star Taj Hotels in Chennai, The Rose Garden in the Maldives and the Deluxe Palace Hotel in Bahrain, the Chef has put together a health conscious menu.
Not only will “all lifestyles and dietary requirements” be catered for, but there will be “dishes embracing veganism and the health conscious person in mind”.
To this end, Infinitii has confirmed: “We use olive oil for cooking and steer clear from deep frying hence we do not serve poppadum’s.”
While from the starters menu, you might consider the healthy Kaffir Lime Lemon Sole, the Infinitii Champen of baby lamb chops, that’s cooked in a clay oven, is the restaurant’s signature tandoor and grill dish.
Their ‘Vegan Experience’ tandoor dish offers a selection of aloo brie tikki, kale piazo and paneer tikka, served with tamarind and mint sauce. Otherwise on Sunday’s, a ‘Streetfood Variety Menu’ will be available for lunch from 12.30-3pm,
Infinitii says it’s “also committed to being an environmentally conscious establishment by sourcing organic, free trade, local ingredients and committing to producing net zero plastic waste”.
