Halal eateries win London’s Ealing Restaurant Awards 2020
Two Halal-friendly restaurants in west London took top honours yesterday after being voted Ealing borough’s favourite dining spots.
The Ealing Restaurant Awards gave cause for celebration when it announced that Steak On The Green in Haven Green was this year’s winner.
The popular steak house pipped family-run, Halal Tunisian cafe Sidi Bou, also located in Haven Green, to the post with its premium cuts of meat.
With the country currently in lockdown, this year’s awards will go a long way towards drumming up support for Ealing’s small businesses and “indie food scene”.
Speaking of his win, Steak On The Green owner Ian told FtLion: “The team really worked hard. They deserved it. We really have been well supported by our Halal clients. That made a huge difference through these challenging times.”
