Fat Moe’s introduces its smash burgers to Eastbourne

American diner Fat Moe’s has chosen the south east coast of England for the opening of its second site, as the UK Halal smash burger trend continues unabated.

With a branch already established in West Sussex’s Crawley, this fully Halal brand has brought its burgers, shakes and waffles to East Sussex’s Eastbourne.

A spokesperson for Fat Moe’s reportedly said: “We are really excited to be opening a branch in the Sunshine Coast, it’s an absolute privilege to be able to bring a taste of our cuisine to such a friendly and welcoming community.”

Having “taken appropriate measures in line with covid regulations to ensure a safe environment for all our diners”, the shop on Seaside Road has limited indoor seating for 20 guests.

With a new menu on the verse of being published, expect smashed burgers to dominate the menu, with one of their best sellers being the Route 66 that includes two 5oz beef patties, as well as boneless wings.

Aside from the Chik’n & Waffle meal with house slaw and maple syrup, there’s loaded waffles for dessert like The Millionaire which comprises fresh strawberries, kinder bueno, milk chocolate and while chocolate sauce, served with either a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream.

Meanwhile, home delivery is also available through Fat Moe’s partners Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.
