London’s Laburnum Street Food Fair begins tomorrow
Laburnum Street Food Fair will be kicking off this weekend next door to Suleymaniye Mosque in east London’s Dalston.
A wide range of Anatolian food will be on offer on Kingsland Road when the fair kicks off tomorrow at 11am before ending on Sunday 31 October.
Attended every year by thousands of visitors from all backgrounds, the annual gathering will have Halal approved food as well as charity fundraising events.
With doner, shish and adana kebabs; Turkish-style pizza called lahmacun; fried chicken; plenty of desserts including baklawa, kunefe and ice cream; as well as Turkish coffee and tea, there will be plenty for everyone.
While a car park is available within the area, the nearest train station is only a 5-minute walk from Hoxton and Haggerston, with the 67, 243 and 149 buses accessible around the corner.
