And this turned out to be even more true with the opening of a dessert parlour as well established as the national franchise Heavenly Desserts.
Boasting almost 40 restaurants across Britain, it should come as no surprise that this particular branch is the biggest draw on Wilmslow Road.
And that’s only their basement, complete with gorgeous floral ceilings and comfortably elegant seating
After all, what better way to dampen the spices after a good curry than premium desserts, especially given the sheer range of exciting items Heavenly Desserts are renowned for.
While huge shopfront windows ensure their restaurants are light and airy, their sumptuously designed interior is aesthetically pleasing, with floral walls and neon lights that offer plenty of Instagrammable backdrops.
Their store in Rusholme, for instance, has beautiful boothes that can seat upto five guests each, with plenty of comfortable seating located downstairs in a basement complete with stunning floral ceilings.

Heavenly Dessert’s menu is second to none, offering carefully conceived sweet treats that have been refined to ensure that each one is executed perfectly, with emphasis on presentation.
This dual approach is no better demonstrated than by their extremely popular Croffles, which, if you don’t know, is a clever cross between a waffle, which is also available, and a croissant.

In this case, it was the Ruby Chocolate and Raspberry Croffle, which didn’t just deliver on the crumbly texture of the croissant, but was smothered in layers of real ruby chocolate, white chocolate and fresh crimson raspberries, before being topped by a scoop of white chocolate gelato.
Of course, if you’re looking for something new and trending, then it has to be the torta de tres leches aka tres leche cake aka milk cakes, which in this case comes in three flavours: Vanilla with rose & pistachios, Lotus Biscoff, and Saffron, with each soft sponge cake being saturated in flavoured milk syrup.

In striving to make Heavenly Desserts a place where diners can have fun, they also offer a 3-step, create your own dessert option, which begins with choosing from nine delicious bases: American Waffle, Belgian Liege Waffle, Pancakes, Crepe, Cake Slices, Vanilla Cheesecake, Cookie Dough, Brownies, or a Croffle.
After choosing your fave sauce, you then get to embellish your creation with a range of ten toppings, before finishing it off with silky smooth scoops of gelato.
