Chit ‘n’ Chaat brings its Indian street food to Stockport
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalIndian street food specialists Chit ‘n Chaat have opened their second site in Greater Manchester and third in overall.
With the first in Manchester’s Rusholme on Wilmslow Road, this latest 40-cover restaurant has opened in Stockport, with the other branch in Liverpool Met Quarter.
Located on Old Rectory Gardens in Cheadle, the brand is known for serving food you’d typically find on the streets of both North and South India, with vibrant flavours and textures.
Expect to find dishes such as the so-called Love Triangle, which sees three pieces of filo pastry filled with spiced potato and peas, before being served in a triangulated serving plate, as well as Vada Pav that’s also known as the Bombay Burger.
Otherwise, there’s dishes like Keema Pav, Bun Kebab, a variety of dosas, puris and chaats from the south, and a selection of Indo Chinese such as Hakka Noodles.
