All-American 12th Street burgers arrive in London’s West Ealing

While it’s only been a year this month since 12th Street opened its first branch, the brand has already had a huge impact on the UK’s Halal burger scene.

With smashed burgers being all the rage these days, 12th Street not only use 100% Angus beef for theirs, but have created a dozen choices, with each one uniquely distinct from the next.

Take for instance their best selling Route 77 which comprises a pair of beautifully caramelised patties covered in double the cheese and deluxe BBQ sauce, before being elevated with deeply smoky and crispy lamb rashers of exceptional quality.

If chicken is your thing, then not only is there enough variety here to have you coming back time after time, but how many Halal burger places do you know of that actually offer a Maple Waffle Chicken Burger?

You simply cannot get more American than this unique thing of beauty which perfectly pairs a delicately breaded crispy chicken fillet – all drizzled in plenty of gooey sweet maple syrup – with toasted waffles for buns.

Otherwise, we can understand why 12th Street’s most sought after is the Buffalo Chicken Burger, with a crispy chicken fillet positively drenched in a finger-lickingly tangy buffalo sauce that’s superbly tempered by the mayo, and topped with a trio of uber crunchy onions rings to boot.

If you fancy something more hearty, then 12th Street Philly Cheese sandwich is filled to the brim with freshly sautéed peppers and onions, succulent Angus minced beef, all covered in the winning combination of lusciously warm melted cheese sauce and their “special 12th American sauce”.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an authentic American joint without wings. And 12th Street have gone to town in not just offering four flavours: Buffalo, Sweet Hot Mango, smoky Deluxe BBQ, and house Sweet Chilli, but also a selection of dipping sauces to keep diners on their toes.

With a range of sides to consider, such as their Loaded Chicken Fries that come covered in a vibrant homemade slaw, a dozen made-to-order shakes, as well as cookie doughs and cakes for desserts, this place will have you coming back time and time again.
