Slim Chickens makes big N. Ireland debut in Belfast

Slim Chickens has opened its inaugural Northern Ireland restaurant in Belfast this week with, for those who don’t know, Halal chicken options on the menu.
The Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG) has previously confirmed with FtLion that the chicken franchise serves Halal poultry across all their branches.
While a cheese and bacon sandwich is part of the menu, with alcohol also being served, they’ve told FtLion: “All our chicken is Halal across all our UK sites. We have the same menu as well, some are reduced in certain locations.”
Having started 17 years ago in Arkansas, the US-hatched chicken brand now has restaurants across the UK including Cardiff, Birmingham, Bluewater, Bristol, and Southampton, with three in London.
Serving “authentic Southern flavours including the brand’s most iconic dishes”, there’s also cooked-to-order chicken tenders, wings, 17 different house sauces to try, among other items.
