Free burgers today at London’s Chicken Shop launch in Putney

Chicken Shop will celebrate its London Putney branch launch today with free burger and fries for the first 50 people both today and during the weekend (credit: Zaman Siddiqui).
Having rebranded from Chik’n earlier this year, a £5 meal-deal will also be offered all weekend when they open on Putney High Street at 11am.
While their menu at Chik’n did have bacon on the menu, it appears that the Chicken Shop has removed any pork from their menu, although alcohol is served on the premises, according to their website.
Promising “next level fried chicken sandwiches”, their selection of chicken burgers are served either fried or grilled, with other including wraps, wings, tenders, fries and sides, handcrafted dips and sauces, as well as milkshakes.
