Nava Ruchi brings Kerala cuisine to East Ham in London
HALAL STATUS Fully Halal food menuA new restaurant has brought the South Indian flavours of Kerala to east London’s East Ham on Monday.
Located on the High Street, Nava Ruchi was inaugurated by Keralan-born Chef Jomon Kuriakose who also confirmed with FtLion: “Our meat is Halal.”
“That is the only thing that came to my mind when I was inaugurating a restaurant today on the same streets of London, where I walked tirelessly looking for a job, years ago,” the Chef announced on Instagram.
Having worked under prominent Indian fine-dining Chef Vivek Singh at the Cinnamon Collective, Chef Jomon, who is Executive Chef at the London boutique hotel The Lalit, won the ‘Global Food Safety Leader Award’ award last year.
FtLion has been unable to determine in what capacity the Chef is involved with Nava Ruchi at the time of publication, and whether alcohol is served on the premises.
