An Hawaiian poké bowl concept has soft launched its second site in London’s Holborn with 50% off all poké bowls until tomorrow Friday 24 February.
Maui Poké has opened its third branch in the capital on Red Lion Street with a menu that includes carefully curated Maui house bowls.
Not only has the brand informed FtLion that “everything is ok to eat. The only meat dish we have is chicken and that’s Halal”, but has also confirmed that “no alcohol is used in any of our dishes”.
Their 5-step, build-your-own poké bowl concept involves choosing from a trio of bases: sushi rice, brown rice, leafy greens; before opting for a ‘Protein’: salmon, tuna, chicken, beef, tofu; selecting four toppings out of 11, followed by a garnish, and finally a sauce.
A number of ‘specials’ are also available including the Beef Gyudon, which is a Maui take on a Japanese classic, as well as The Bear Bowl, which was originally created by their first ever customer at the Fitzrovia branch.
