Saffron Street adds Blackburn to its portfolio tomorrow
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalFully Halal Indian restaurant Saffron Street will be celebrating the grand opening of its branch in Blackburn tomorrow.
Launching at 5pm on King William Street, this new addition appears to be as strikingly beautiful as its second in Leicester, which kicked off FtLion’s Leicester food tour this year.
Their menu is inspired by Indian street “food markets selling local dishes using recipes handed down through generation”.
Some of the dishes to watch out for include Nariyali Paneer Tikka, Gilafi Seekh Kebab, and a Mixed Grill comprising of murgh malai tikka, tandoori chicken and sholay wings.
There’s plenty of Indo-Chinese and regional Indian dishes too such as the classic Chicken 65 Chow Mein, and Chicken Lollipop, as well as Butter Chicken, Dhaba Ghosht, Daal Makhani, and Nihari Biryani.
