Free food at Popeyes debut in Manchester tomorrow

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen will be celebrating the launch of its first restaurant in Manchester tomorrow with a massive giveaway.
With queues expected to start at 9am but doors opening at 11am in One Piccadilly Gardens, the American brand announced: “First 3 in the queue will win free chicken sandwiches for a year and the first 25 will win free chicken sandwiches and merch.”
While all UK branches serve a fully Halal food menu, FtLion has been informed that Popeyes’ breakfast menu is not Halal, with a representative clarifying: “We don’t serve chicken at breakfast, but our chicken served with our daytime menu remains Halal.”
Their website states: “Sourcing UK Sourced, Red Tractor chicken,” before adding: “Everyone is welcome at our table. All of our chicken is Halal and we have certification from the Halal Monitoring Board.”
