Halal-friendly restaurant winners at Asian Curry Awards 2023

There were a fair few Halal-friendly businesses that triumphed at this year’s 13th Asian Curry Awards in London’s Mayfair.
Leading restaurateurs, chefs, experts and dignatories congregated at the luxury hotel, Grosvenor House, to celebrate the country’s favourite dish.
Among the winners in London were #FtLionAwards ‘Best Restaurant’ 2022 Colonel Saab in Holborn (rated a perfect 5/5), which was named ‘Restaurant of the Year’, and Namaaste Highgate which won ‘Newcomer of the Year’ .
While Spice Village took home ‘Best Event Caterer of the Year Award’, family-run The Bombay Restaurant in Orpington, which has been running for the last 40 years, was recognised as ‘Best Indian Restaurant for the London Suburbs’.
With My Lahore winning the ‘Best Fusion Restaurant’ award in Blackburn, Spice Zone in Holstead was this year’s ‘Takeaway of the Year’.
