Chaiiwala has achieved another landmark by becoming the first karak chai business in the UK to open a site in an airport.
The award-winning chai brand has successfully launched its 109th cafe worldwide in Luton airport.
“Our FIRST EVER Airport store is here! Hello Luton. Chaiiwala is now OPEN at Luton Airport!
“That’s right – your favourite chaii and desi street food is now available to enjoy before you jet off! Make sure to stop by!” it said on Facebook.
Specialising in Indian street snacks, the franchise is known for Bombay sandwiches, masala chips, and hearty Indian breakfasts which include a “special” masala omelette, which can be enjoyed with brewed teas and coffees.
The brand was voted the Readers’ Choice: Best Beverage of the Year during the annual #FtLion awards in 2019.
