Another day for another review and this time it’s an evening at the grand opening of Chickaros located in Leicester.

Being a franchise, Chickaros is now opening on Granby Street, and we had the pleasure of trying out their food during the weekend.

Firstly the restaurant looked amazing, and will draw the attention of those who will walk past. The atmosphere folks was absolutely buzzing too.

Now about the food; we ordered: Loaded Parmasan, a platter for two, Halloumi Burger, Kebabish Bao Buns, Pína Colada Mocktail, and Strawberry & Lime Mocktail.

I was truly looking forward to the parmasan range and, as recommended, decided to go for the Loaded Parmasan, which not only did not disappoint, but I’d also recommend to you.

The platter for two was perfect in terms of both the portion and its taste. The marination of the chicken was splendid and the meat was cooked to perfection. The prawns were full of flavour. A great platter to start off before your mains.

Mrs Hajat’s Reviews is a massive fan of Bao Buns, and although she didn’t expect the donner meat, thought the Kababish Bao Buns were delicious.

Mrs Hajat’s Reviews also had the Halloumi Burger, and said she really enjoyed that too, with the amount of Halloumi being just the right size.

To drain it all down, we had the Pína Colada and Strawberry & Lime Mocktails, which both tasted very refreshing. In general, I am a massive fan of Pína Colada Mocktails, and this one really blew my mind.

I know great customer service when I see it, and for sure the management and staff members of Chickaros showed that last night; so thank you to them for their engagement and for taking care of us all.
