Allstars Gourmet to donate all profits to Syria this Sunday
A gourmet burger joint in East London will generously be donating all of its profits in aid of the people of Syria this weekend.
Allstars Gourmet’s “Day of Giving” initiative will see all profits made between the hours of 1.30pm and 11pm on Sunday 21st October being forwarded to charity group Aid Convoy’s Medical Emergency Appeal to Syria.
But the HMC-approved eatery, which is located on the busy stretch of Green Street, will only be accepting cash be it takeaways, deliveries (2 mile radius) or those choosing to eat in as part of the appeal.
In a video published on the charity’s Facebook page, a representative not only recommended some menu items, but also encouraged: “So if you could bring your cash down, bring your selves down, bring your friends down, bring your families down, to support a good cause [and] have a good night out.
“Personally I’d recommend the barbecue wings; and the corn dogs were a little bit of a surprise!”
Allstars Gourmet’s most successful burger is the Sloppy Joe’s Beef Chilli followed closely behind by the VIP Bacon Cheese Burger, as well as an adventurous Krispy Kreme donut burger.
While there’s plenty of space available at the 2-floor restaurant – 70 to be precise – reservations can be made by calling 020 8470 9999.
Otherwise, online donations can be made any time at the following website: www.hospitals4syria.com.
