A fast food brand that specialises in South American street food has opened its eighth site in the capital while confirming its Halal status.

Assenheims 56 has opened a takeaway on London Bridge Street this week and informed FtLion that it caters for Halal chicken and beef.

“All our chicken and beef products are Halal-certified and prepared accordingly. We do sell 2 pork products; but they are cooked using separate equipment and prepared away from Halal produce to avoid cross contamination,” Assenheims 56 said on Instagram.

Their others sites are in Holborn, Ludgate Hill, Canary Wharf, Smithfield Street, Great Tower Street, Wormwood Street, and Queen Victoria Street.

The Latin American cuisine includes a Build-Your-Box option, as well as breakfast items, coffee and tea, and a variety of sandwiches.
