Banana Tree launches in London Greenwich’s The O2 today
HALAL STATUS Fully Halal food menu • Alcohol servedPan-Asian restaurant Banana Tree will be officially opening a site in London Greenwich’s The O2 today.
Having unofficially launched during the weekend, this is the brand’s 11th restaurant overall and they’re serving “a slightly reduced menu” from the one served at larger sites.
Banana Tree have also informed FtLion of their Halal status: “As with all of our restaurants, we are Halal with no pork being served. We have certificates available for all guests to see on arrival.”
Their all-day menu offers plenty of options with starters that include Sweetcorn Fritter Balls, Singapore Laksa Soup, and Malaysian Kajang Satay, to name but a few.
They also do wok-tossed noodles, curry sets, regional specialities, chargrilled meats, as well as katsu and ramens, with a selection of traditional desserts.
