200 free burgers at Butchies London Bridge launch
HALAL STATUS Fully Halal food menu • Alcohol servedFried buttermilk chicken burger brand Butchies will be opening a branch in the London bridge area later today.
Located in Tooley Street and a 5-minutes’ walk from London Bridge Station, this will be their seventh restaurant in London.
And they’ll be celebrating by giving away 200 free ‘OG’ Burgers to the first customers through the door at noon, before offering 50% off for the rest of the week.
With branches in Canary Wharf, Clapham, Ealing, Earl’s Court, Shoreditch, and Victoria, Butchies states on its website: “All of our chicken is sourced from a Halal-certified supplier; and certificates are available at each site.”
They’ve also told FtLion: “We sell alcohol; but we do not use it anywhere in the cooking process. The bacon is cooked separately from other food items.”
Having first come on the scene in east London back in 2013, their website further reveals: “Red Tractor accredited birds are sustainably sourced from a single farm based in South Yorkshire.”
