Halal Korean Cafe Bibimbap opens in London’s West Ealing

We’ve been alerted (thank you Halal Joints – watch out for the release of their food app this week) to the opening of a fully Halal Korean cafe in west London (full review here).

Located in West Ealing’s Al-Jazeera Mall on the Broadway, Cafe Bibimbap has been setup by budding actor and presenter Yeohan Kim and specialises in healthy traditional Korean style rice bowls.

With limited seating, the cafe offers takeaways with a menu that’s short and sweet and based on presumably Yeohan’s “mum’s homemade healthy food”.

A trio of dishes make up mains: a Chicken Bibimbap that’s marinated in a spicy sauce; a Beef Bibimbap which is marinated in special soy sauce; and a veggie or vegan version – all of which come with vegetables and a fried egg.

For their Specials, there’s a Japchae dish of thin glass vermicelli noodles with assorted vegetables; six pieces of fried Chicken Mandu dumplings; and five pieces of pan fried Prawn Mandu dumplings.

And with Kimchi, which is a traditional Korean side dish of salted and fermented vegetable, also available, as a cafe there’s Korean Tea and Juice as well as Korean Patisseries and Snacks.
