As Leicester’s first fully Halal HMC-certified smokehouse, Cattle & Smoke offers grass-fed Angus beef that’s slowly smoked in oak wood for 18 hours to ensure the juiciest and most tender brisket available.
The brand’s aim and vision is to make the best quality smoked meats, diligently prepared using recipes and techniques that align with Texas and southern America, accessible not just to a wider audience, but also at a convenient price.
And the owner is now ready to share his knowledge and experience of running a successful smokehouse restaurant with a tried and tested franchise model to anyone in Leicester and beyond who share’s his passion for smoking meat.

A cursory look at Cattle & Smoke’s mouthwatering menu will quickly establish just how exciting this brand is and why it has the potential of going big.
Their Smoke Boxes are no better an example of exactly how good, with a choice of either delicious sliced smoked brisket, pulled beef based in spicy Texas BBQ sauce, or a quartet of Nashville tenders, which come with seasoned rustic chips, creamy mac and cheese, a slice of toasted Texas bread, a dip, inhouse pink slaw, pickles and garnish.
Otherwise, it’s all about this smoked meat being presented in the form of some exceptionally conceived range of Angus beef burgers and chicken burgers.
Let’s start, of course, with the Sliced Brisket Burger, with slices of smoked succulent beef covered in a zingy chimmichurri sauce, and complemented by pink slaw, cheese, gherkins and mayo.
And Cattle & Smoke haven’t placed chicken on the back burner either, having developed a Southern Nashville-inspired batter that’s herbaceous and very addictive.
Take their Southern Nashville Chicken Burger that’s freshly-battered to order, fried to a crispy finish on the outside, tender and succulent on the in, and completed with pink slaw, topped with cheese, gherkins and mayo, in a toasted fluffy brioche bun.
For those seeking after something left-key, then it has to be Chicken & Waffles, which in this case is made perfect by uber-crispy Nashville chicken that’s served on light and fluffy Belgian waffles before being smothered in sweet maple syrup to make this a memorable munch.
In addition to Loaded Chips, which comprise of seasoned rustic fries that are topped with either pulled beef, brisket or chicken, with pink slaw, mac and cheese, mayo, cheese and nacho cheese for good measure.
As should be obvious, Cattle & Smoke have all angles covered to deliver a culinary journey that includes a brilliant and emerging franchisable business.
