Cha Cha Chai celebrated the grand opening of its Manchester branch on Stockport Road yesterday by giving away free karak tea and donuts.
Not to be confused with the fast food place Cha Cha’s on the same road, this cafe place continues the popular food trend covered in the FtLion article: Let the chaii wala chai wars begin.
Having first opened in 2018 and with some 20 branches across the north west of England, the Indian street food brand is one of the more well-established ones in the field, and has its sights set on places like Birmingham and Nelson.
With items such as Karak Chai, Saffron Chai, and Dud Pathi (milk leaf tea), along with plenty of Indian street food snacks, and a variety of desserts, Cha Cha Chai’s menu is a varied one.
