Chai & Chapati launches ‘chai parlour’ in Luton today

There’ll be plenty of chai being enjoyed in Luton later today when Chai & Chapati officially open to serve “Luton’s best Kara chai and speciality dishes”.

Located on the busy stretch of Dunstable Road, this latest addition to a long line of Halal chai-oriented eateries will be launching at 6pm and is more a chai parlour than a cafe given its size.

With Instragrammable walls extending across two floors and plenty of spacious seating, Chai & Chapati are promising a “premium experience” that revolves around a rather extensive menu.

Not only are there both ‘East is East’ and ‘West is West’ breakfasts, but they’re also doing a selection of Chapati Rolls, which includes some sweet varities, and desi-style sandwiches.

But it’s their Street Food that appears to set them apart from others, with dishes like Papri Chaat, Pani Puri, Bhel Puri, Fish Goujons, Creamy Corn, Dynamite Shrimps or Chicken, and plenty of Wings to choose from.

Aside from the availability of cakes and shakes, they’re also making available the famous Snowflake Gelato ice cream range.

Chai & Chapati joins a large number of other chai-inspired brands and cafes that includes the hugely successful Chaiiwala, as well as: Chai Naasto, Chai Nashta, Chai Thali, Chaii Room, Chaii Walay, Chai Walay, Chai Bradford, Matki Chai, Khan Chai, Chaska Chai, Chai Chaat Chai, Naan & Chai, Roti Chai, House of Chai, Chaii Shai, and Chai Street.

And while there’s also a mobile tea bar business called Chaii Bros, so popular is the UK’s Halal chai scene that we even have a blogger going by the name Kadak Chai Girl!
