Chai Green launches second restaurant in Birmingham

Having covered the number of Halal chai-oriented places in Birmingham, Chai Green is another that’s just opened on Stratford Road.
This one, however, isn’t quite your usual cafe joint, but a huge restaurant that certainly lives up to its name with plenty of greenery therein.
As for 1823 in their website’s URL, then this is a reference to the year the British were apparently “buzzing with the news of the discovery of a new tea variety growing in the lush hills of Assam” in northeastern India.
In any case, with their first restaurant in Alum Rock Road, Chai Green’s menu has all the breakfast dishes accounted for, and plenty of hot beverages you’ll find elsewhere, except that they also offer Signature Curry Bowls and Burgers to stand out from the crowded market.
