Chaiiwala launches in London’s Brent Cross Shopping Centre

The “Indian Starbucks” is only ten away from hitting its landmark 100th site following the opening of its latest cafe in London.

Having opened in Brent Cross Shopping Centre, the UK’s leading karak chai brand Chaiiwala opened its 90th venue yesterday.

Announcing the opening on social media, the award-winning company said: “We’re excited to announce the opening of our newest branch! Who’s excited about this one?

“Shop & Chaii. Our London expansion continues and this marks our 90th store worldwide.”

Specialising in Indian street snacks, the franchise is known for Bombay sandwiches, masala chips, and hearty Indian breakfasts which include a “special” masala omelette, which can be enjoyed with brewed teas and coffees.

In 2019, Chaiiwala was voted the Readers’ Choice: Best Beverage of the Year during the annual #FtLion awards.
