A fully Halal ‘Street Kitchen’ has launched in Birmingham’s Morrisons with two well-known brands included among the outlets.
Chaiiwala and Brgr.Bro have opened in a food court located within with the superstore’s shopping store on Coventry Road in Small Heath.
With the other three being pizza place Oh My Dough, Pasty & Co, and dessert stop Choco Drip, this will be Chaiiwala’s 70th in the UK and 75th worldwide, and Brgr.Bro’s third site.
While the former is known for its Indian street snacks being served with its award-winning brewed teas and coffees, the latter has the distinction of being the first to launch a Halal slider restaurant concept in the UK.
In 2019, Chaiiwala was voted the Readers’ Choice: Best Beverage of the Year during the annual #FtLion awards and Brgr.Bro’s Grilled Flaming Hot Chicken won ‘Best Burger’ of the year.
