Chaiiwala in Dundee 2nd Scottish cafe in just a week

Chaiiwala celebrated the grand opening of its second branch in Scotland barely a week after making its debut there.
With its inaugural Scottish cafe having launched in Glasgow’s Springfield Quay leisure park, this one in Dundee’s Reform Street marks the brand’s 69th in the UK and 74th worldwide.
In addition to Indian street snacks being served with brewed teas and coffees, the award-winning franchise also offers rotis, Bombay sandwiches, masala chips, as well as a hearty Indian breakfast that includes a “special” masala omelette.
While the Leicester-based franchise currently employs 800 staff across its UK stores, it is also aiming to launch 40 locations by the end of the year.
In 2019, Chaiiwala was voted the Readers’ Choice: Best Beverage of the Year during the annual #FtLion awards.
