Chaiiwala opens sixth Leicester cafe in Fosse Park

Leading Indian street food cafe brand Chaiiwala has opened in Leicester’s revamped food court, Food Central, at Fosse Park.
“The home of chaii and desi street food” will be joining Halal restaurants Boo Burgers, Lebanese Fattoush, Korean inspired Grounded Kitchen, and American brand Thai Express.
Having launched in London’s Bethnal Green earlier this month, Chaiiwala also recently went international in Canada, with Fosse Park being its 45th site.
Serving Indian street snacks with brewed teas and coffees, the renowned franchise also offers items like rotis, Bombay sandwiches, masala chips, as well as a hearty Indian breakfast that includes a “special” masala omelette.
In 2019, Chaiiwala was voted the Readers’ Choice: Best Beverage of the Year during the annual #FtLion awards.
